The ASTRAIOS project has just released the second issue of its newsletter, showcasing significant progress and outputs achieved over the past six months.
This edition emphasizes the newly developed database of space-related educational programs available in the EU and UK. The publicly accessible database allows users to search for degree programs by country, primary language, and course offerings at Bachelor, Master, and Postgraduate levels, including continuing education courses.
Key highlights also include initial analyses of future trends and challenges in the European space sector, along with the industry’s future skills needs. Other main outputs include the EU-TAsK, the EU and UK Factsheets on Space Skills and Workforce, the recently developed outreach materials showcasing on how attractive a career in the space sector is.
As the project nears its halfway mark, the next phase will focus on developing training and online courses for Copernicus and Galileo users.
Check out the newsletter for all these details and more on visibility and dissemination efforts that the ASTRAIOS consortium has been carrying out. Specifically, the consortium partners are presenting findings at prominent European space events such as IGARSS, Industry Space Days at ESTEC, COSPAR's 45th Scientific Assembly, IAC in Milan, and Space Tech Europe in Bremen.
